Old roommate and friend

Chad and met about 3 years ago when I rented out 2 rooms for my son and I. Both my son Devin and I developed a friendship with Chad and Bailey. Even tho I have moved out, we still remained good friends. The pics show my 2 boys and Chad at an A&M game 3 weeks ago like we have done the year before. I’ll miss those annual trips to College Station and I will miss him. My heart goes out to his Family.

I love you, Chad.

On the night of October 7th, 2013, I was sound asleep when I received a phone call from my dear friend, Claudia. Brushing it off as nothing, I ignored the call and went back to sleep. The next morning, as I stood on my balcony browsing through Facebook, I stumbled upon the reason she had called me. She wanted to tell me that God had called Chad home… I was numb, and I still am.
I am a graduate student at UTA, and I’ve been blessed to have Chad in my life for the previous year. He was always teasing me and giving me a hard time, but I know it was out of love. He never failed to be supportive when I needed him most, be it that I was having trouble with my own research, or that I had just gone through a tough breakup.
Words cannot describe the sadness I feel at knowing you are gone, Chad. You are irreplaceable to so very many people.
My thoughts and prayers are with Lizzy, as well as Chad’s mother and step-father. May God guide you through this trying time.

Chad, as much as we tortured each other, I know you cared about me. You were a great mentor, and an incredible friend. I can’t thank you enough for the support you’ve given me through the past year, and most importantly, through the previous few months.

I love you always,

-Little Linds

Chad Stories

We did not get the pleasure of knowing Chad other than through the stories shared by Cheryl, Dan and Liz. Through the years we laughed at the snakes and spiders living in the house while Chad was growing up. Also, we knew of his love for animals and how he had such a big heart when it came to dogs. I know that the loss of his dog Allie was such a heartbreak for Chad. And Liz you have not only lost a big brother but a best friend. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Driscoll family for the loss of such a wonderful kind hearted son and brother.
